Lovely to hear that the weather has been glorious.....can't wait to get there next Friday!  Just 8 sleeps!!!!!

I haven't been to Corfu so early in the season - usually there July or August.  What are the temperatures like in the evening now?  Do we still need a jumper?  Also I can see that there are some thunderstorms - I hope I'm right in assuming that they come and go fairly quickly, rather than hang around all day as they do in UK?

june

I'm not on Facebook but would love to know where they're performing in June if someone could post it on here I'd be grateful

Eggy

Rain is forecast, this afternoon, and it is currently a mild 20/21 deg at 12:30 ish.

Rumour has it that a cold day is expected tomorrow. - Unless Truth takes it home with him.

Thunderstorms generally do not hang around too long. (Am I tempting fate here??)

Best to pack a jumper so when you never take it from the case, you'll be a happy "sailor"!

Exchange hovers around e1.21 today.

I will try and keep all updated on the "Worried Men" , or as someone recently mistyped in an e-mail to me....
"The Weird Men" - I am sure it was a spelling error??

Cheers

Hi Negg

Looking at the Arillas webcam - it's looking pretty grim at the moment.  Still, I'm sure you know all best places to shelter until it goes away!

Looks like it's clearing over the weekend and will be back to normal when we arrive on Monday afternoon.  Can't wait.

Cheers

You could say a grim afternoon, but that, today , would only be based on the company you have.

I, personally,  had a super 17 deg drizzly, wet, tad chilly, afternoon at Tria and would be happy to do it again. - Just keep the ouzo glass topped up and the conversation good.

The weather will sort itself out by the weekend so be prepared for a good Monday onwards.

(If not I will share my sheltering holes with you)

I'm in the office on my own and I've only got my own company, so please excuse me if I get depressed.

Sounds like you had a great afternoon yesterday regardless. Please raise a glass to yours truly when the ouzo is next flowing.

May bump into you next week, who knows?

Eggy

Ah CJ,

Just be sure that my Ouzo's have been consumed conservatively or I may just bump into you.
(Another dent for the Punto!!)

I did bump into Viv, this afternoon, in the safest possible way and said "Kalo Taxidis" for her and Pete's journey home. Plus of course, Truth, who once again has had a super time here.
(A super time for a super family- Ouzo afternoon? - Harem of Ladies? -Good job Wegg doesn't read posts)

Overnight rain hit the 10mm mark and a dreary morning. But we finish. at 6 pm ish .with a nice 23deg.

So , all in all an enjoyable day for all. Julie here with Mike and grand daughter , Charlie, who very kindly made me a wrist bracelet to help me with my darts. Give her a couple more years and she will be beating me as well. - I am fast running out of people who let me win!!

Joyce back, as the "grapevine" told me 90 minutes before she got here. - No secrets here , guys.

A quiet evening for us at Kavadaddes, tonight, then off to Efi's avrio with Wendy n Stuart.
Now, just waiting for Val n Bill to tell me a good afternoon, next week for a Mathraki chat.

Cheers
