Envious of 21C temperatures Neil thanks for posting again. We have been on the beach today in SW Cornwall 1C and 20mph winds several layers of clothing hat gloves etc etc now in a pub with real ale and log fire .Be back home on Arillas beach in 172 sleeps minus fleeces hats and gloves!

Well Al n Sal - (Whoops , I feel a poem coming on!) - Nah!

After a very cold n wet "Clean Monday" , when I don't think any kites around Arillas took off, and... after some overnight rain, we are back to dry and mild and 21 deg outside for Arillas today.
(A better explanation of "Clean Monday" can be found on Google)

We are all hoping here, that not only the weather will start to improve but also the exchange rate. - Bread and water anyone???

Cheers

Warm & dry, great walking weather. Arillas in March is very different but still very attractive.

Hope it is getting better after the storms
ME AND ICE COLD MYTHOS

Arillas today is a cracker!!!

We have enjoyed temps around 19/20 deg and some warm rays, First time today I went out without a sweatshirt.
(T-shirt ? - In April ? - WOTSTHATALLABOUT?)

There is now that usual Arillas buzzzzzzzz which takes place leading up to May.
Arillas is getting ready folks!!

Rain is forecast tomorrow - Can't win 'em all

You say you cant win them all but from our point of view you have already won the jackpot.
You are where we all love all the year round.
For us we just wish we had that option.
I am sure there are many who are jealous!

I so agree with Oliver, Neill.

Oliver is a very wise man in my books. He has "whirled" me around with his posts, and truly believes the same as I do. But having the courage, the money and the freedom, and in truth the staying power, to sell up and move there is another thing.

We have another perfect example in Maggie and Gordon. I remember forum pics of her in 2007 in the Nut with longer blonde hair, sitting at the bar in the Nut wearing formal looking blue clothes. She even chided me on forum for being a bit drunk after that. Now she and her man have sold everything and moved there. Boats sunk, bridges burned, they look FABULOUS now.

Sitting in Brouklis with my Jen, Mythos and cats takes years off me. If we ever live there for good, we will live forever.

Have decided, it would,t be right to take money away from the lovely people that hire apartments in Arilas so we might just have to all stay with Eggy and Wendy the only thing is I can't see Wendy being very happy about it and I wouldn't want to upset her, so I quess we could all take over the house on the peninsula if we can get in without breaking any law. Wouldn't that be something.

I often think about that house.....would love to know the real story.
Have heard numerous variations over the years from different people in the village. Perhaps we could have squatters rights Viv?
