Overnight rain, of 13mm together with much thunder and lightning gave us a very sombre Arillas Today. On 'n off showers, though have failed to dampen the spirits - Probably increase the "spirits" of all those veterans who remain.

I found a breezy, albeit mild breezy, Arillas beach this afternoon.
But....... a few bodies, on the beach, taking advantage of the break in the rain.
Good on yer! - DATSWOTISAY!
Tis still warm here peeps and, even now, at 6pm, we enjoy 21deg -
Currently dry! and ..... 23 deg in the house, without burning oil! - Good Oh!

Camera tomorrow , methinks. Maybe pics of an Arillas who might just look that it's beginning to miss all those pals it met in the Summer.

Cheers

Thanks for pics Neill, watching the web cam yesterday and didn't see anyone on the road or beach, so the photos were much appreciated. Where is everyone hiding?

I agree Sharon, Martin does look great- looking very youthfull. He is great at doing accents - made me laugh loads doing his "northern one" :)

Well.... After overnight heavy thunder n lightening and 7mm of rain, Arillas Today finds us, still holding on to, 21deg at 5pm. Helluva shower this afternoon, made worse by someone forgetting to shut the Punto window.
(Soggy bum on the way home!)

Course it's peaceful and not many around. But those here know what to expect from Arillas in October so no sad faces!

And............ Rumour has it that parking at Night Owl is a problem when the place gets busy.

Either that or is it Sandy or Eileen after a late night out and badly mis-judging that bend???

Cheers All

Eggy, all in all and all thing's considered is moving to Arillas the best decision you ever made?? It seems like heaven to me. (Despite inclement weather)

Something I am soon to answer on that long outstanding posting which I haven't forgot. But even we can get bored here, occassionally in the Winter.

Today however, finds a dry 20deg with rumours that the next few days will be much warmer.

Arillas Today is bereft of bladdy tourists, and is having to make do with us. Hard work, but somebody has to do it.....

After the storm the sun came out, as if to say "I told you so." It was the best bit for us, a chance to just chill, be here and relax. We kept an appointment with Ina (just work it out) and then chilled in Armourada for three hours. Collecting my Mythos from the supermarket, with Takis laughing his head off at my barefaced cheek. I did pay him though.

Then, dragging our fags past Brouklis, a sonorous voice rang out "Phil, I have beer left...." Invitation or what?? Our wonderful Dimitris gave us a beer, but was still rushing around here there and everywhere. But the cats were much more interested in sleeping on my lap.

Back to Marvel, and Jen shed all inhibitions and sense, and swam in the pool. "It's lovely when you get used to it." Er no medear, I'll just go and order another Mythos.

PhilnJen are loving the whole lot, as usual.

Arillas Today is calm, collected, warm and peaceful. Absolute BLISS.
