Phil and Jen, have so enjoyed reading your posts, sounds like a wonderful time was had. Laughed at your 4 hr disappearing act...such a man thing to do!
My other half goes to village shop and I start to fret after an hour or so...he ambles in and tells me every old codger in the village stopped him to have a chat..makes me smile, as they probably go home and wives ask...where have you been...ooh I met Chris...you know how he likes to waffle on!

Arillas Today says au revoir to PhilnJen. But like the film "WE WILL BE BACK!"

Because of flight times I have stolen another hour to do the virtual one, like I will be doing from tomorrow until at least 3 months time.

Arillas Today is seriously hot again but the breeze helps folk stay sane. Gravia is still in exactly the same position as it was three weeks ago, when I first observed it from Graziella. We just spent the afternoon checking it out from the same vantage point....

The prawn and Mythos populations are nearly qualifying for endangered species status, which is probably the only valid reason for us to be leaving. We have a few "green" credentials though. Mostly the bottles!!

Many people are here from all over. Have never seen it this time of year, but be warned, BOOK! Many tavernas are fully booked, and for the first time in history we couldn't get into Thalassa. But Effi provided a delightful alternative. An evening in the Nut completed our "tour of duty" for this visit.

I'm sorry. That might have been Arillas yesterday, but after our time here we lose all track of time and days.

Poor 'ole Phil n Jen. - WOTCANISAY??

Arillas Today, still at 36deg at 5:40pm, and a busy hottie.

I would have taken some pics of a busy beach and people queuing up to get into the sea. WOTSTHATALLABOUT??

But........ not a place to park the Punto and the heat makes me irritable.
I am like a bad hospital in this heat - No patience!
Maybe tomorrow? - Must check battery cameras. - and my pacemaker!
Anyway - a super time for all Arillas folk so WOTDOIKNOW?

Timbo and good lady appear tomorrow at Mathaki and a lunchtime "Coffee" is planned. Rumour has it that they have 4 suitcases. ( 2 contain my goodies! )

Will Timbo win the darts K/O at Tria on Wednesday. (Prices with Betfair!)
