Akti hotel

We visited San Stefanos last year but after stumbling across Arillas by accident one day and falling in love with the place, we are thinking of returning there this Sept. Any info on the Akti hotel would be gratefully received. Our visit would only be for a week as we are off to Kefalonia in June as main holiday. Cheers Pauline [/list][/code]

San Stefanos is nice...but Arillas is much better.

I have never stayed at the Akti but my main concern would be the noise. It's right on the road and also opposite the Malibu Bar which can get a bit lively. Looking at prices this year, it also looks very coslty for what it is, although you do get breakfast....not sure about evening meal.

About 3 lines up from the bottom of page 1 of these "Accomadation Reviews" you will find some useful info on the Akti. It's worth a read before booking.

Thankyou for your replies. I have found a really good deal on internet so might just go for it and book the Akti. The noise is a concern but I am going to request a room at the back and take some ear plugs!!!!!!!!. Thanks again Pauline

If you drink some Ouzo and a bottle of wine you wont notice the noise!

Well I have booked it! Decided it was such a good deal we could not miss it. Yep we may have to participate in a little grape juice but hey I can always dose in the sun if I dont get much sleep. Hope we will get to see some of you all there Pauline.

You'll have a great time I'm sure, just email the Akti direct before you go and request a room away from the noise. I don't think it will be that bad in September anyway!

Good idea I will e mail them a couple of weeks before we go. Can not wait to explore Arillas fully as we only visited from neighbouring San Stef. However we were really impressed.

Well, would you believe it! No, I didnt notice it... just creeps up on you eh! That's why I'm not in the Olympics! What happens after Gold then?

Oh just remembered - I did get Gold Membership to Weight Watchers once... a long time ago!

That medal is a bit rusty now tho.
