Harold, Thanks for the link.

There does not not seem to be much discussion regarding the Beer Festival at present. Looking at the number of attendees last year I thought that there would be much more activity on this or other sites

I've had flights booked for sometime now. Love beer, love corfu and thought what the hell this could be ok for me.

Having visited Corfu many times, it will be my first time actually staying in Arillas and still need to find accommodation so any suggestions would be welcome.

Would be good also to hear from anyone attending or thinking of attending the festival.

Peter.

Hi

Three minutes from the beach front and two minutes from the site of the festival, and no minutes from some of the best food in Arillas is the Brouklis studios, which I highly recommend. There's a 2bed apartment and 2 studios. Only yesterday, a friend and I were talking about booking for the festival, only that would mean I'd lose my job if I went ... I am tempted!

not a big beer drinker myself,2or 3 halves will last me all night, but the line up for this years festival looks great.Last years was amazing,so am really looking forward to this years.
October can be a bit hit and miss with find accommadation, but i know that easy jet had some just around the corner from the Kaloudis up the little lane,or just book somewhere from the links on the Arillas website.
Martin, will see you for about 4 days then.

Eggy

I believe that the Marvel had a lot of customers, with them, for last years festival.

Karen.... the Beer Festival is held opposite the brewery up cardiac hill.

A longer walk from Brouklis than two minutes unfortunately ;)

Ooops, sorry. I thought it was on that flat piece of land on the left halfway between the Brouklis and the Marvel. Do they hold another event there, they were preparing it when I was there with fridges and tables and chairs?

Ron and Sue

I think what you saw being set-up was the Wine Festival which this year will be held on 6th September.        Another great night to experience!!!              Ron.

Karen the festival at the beginning of August is called Antamoma.

I believe it's to celebrate the homecoming of lots of people who live in other countries but come to visit relatives in or around August.

Thanks Ron, Val and Bill. At least I know now and if I do go one day I won't be stood in the middle of an empty field on my own wondering were everyone is :-) x

Karen meluvver, if you tried to do that in Arillas from here on in, you would find yourself swiftly taken off to hospitality, gossip and friendship. I will never forget leaving Brouklis to head for the festival, but diverted to Bingo in Rainbow with Eggy calling the numbers. Didn't win but OMG did we enjoy our evening.

Never plan to be anywhere, because you will end up doing something else, somewhere else, with someone else. For us two, Arillas is a lucky dip. Emphasis on lucky.....

You are so right Phil.....we never plan in Arillas, we just do what we want....when we want.

We are never disappointed :)
