Disposable Barbecues

Hi all, just wondering if there is anywhere around that sells disposable barbecues, last night we were talking about our visit next year and thought it might be nice to spend an evening on the beech with a bottle of wine and a few bits and pieces for the barbecue, but we couldn't remember if we had seen them being sold anywhere before, that might be because we have never actually looked for them before or maybe they are not sold because of the obvious risk of fires.

I realise you posted this question some time ago but I've only just seen it!!!!

The supermarket next to the Bakery used to have them. We've never bothered so I don't know if they still sell them but it's worth a look

We have had a couple of lovely evenings on the beach. This year we got pizzas from the the pizza place by Whispers.
last year we bought lots of nibbly bits form the supermarkets, tins of dolmades, giant beans, cold meats & cheese, bread, crisps, tzatziki, taramosolata, wine, nuts etc & had a lovely evening picnic, then went to the Ammos for coffee & crepes!

That's exactly the sort of thing we are thinking of, maybe with some seafood on the barbecue and plenty of wine under the stars, only 279 days to go.

Ray, Sally, I am sure I have seen them on offer at Ina's (on the sea front and on the way south to Mirage, Graziella etc.) We have never needed one, mostly being booked up for meals with friends (that includes just us, we are still friends after 41 years married.)

But we have been known to eat bread, feta and whatever salad looked nice, combined with local krasi (wine) on the beach. That was when we could both walk down there of course.

I have seen people with fires on the beach late at night cooking food and enjoying the moment. Not the norm, I have to say but quite safe. Have often hankered after doing that. Maybe it's because Im a Glastonburyer... that I love Arillas so??? Change the words to London and you'll follow...
