I really shouldn't post again, but can't help myself. Here in Baltonsborough, the darts are in full swing. The pub was heaving earlier, but it has quietened down now, and the die-hards are decked in fringed T-shirts scoring very little, but laughing or sighing at every throw.
The spirit of Arillas flashes into my mind as we all just let ourselves go and enjoy the inebriated and pathetic dart players missing the board altogether. I have seen some of it in the Rainbow. They mostly miss because our Finnish friend Erja has to plead for another beer! I even posted pics of it. (Editor's note - we loved every minute.)
Long live Arillas, and all of its foibles. The new year promises everything on January 1st. Let us work to make sure that the rest of it is the best year yet for the bladdy tourists, and for our favourite Greek friends who make it all possible.
