What a perfect gentle landing. Then they open the doors and the scent of Corfu warms you and fills you up. You breathe deeper, and the excitement grows. You turn and smile to your partner, or whoever is next to you, and realise how happy you feel.

And for Jen and me we are only an hour from heaven. Into the Nut at 1 am, and Arillas Odyssey No 15, 16? begins. It might be more times than that. Lost count.

For us, landing safely in Corfu is the ultimate orgasm. Total satisfaction.

That was brilliant!  brought back so many memories and agree with Phil about when the doors open and the warmth and smells are wonderful!!  Makes your heart beat faster!

Fantastic!  I've sat on the causeway so many times with the planes landing overhead it's nice to see it from the other side. 

Completely agree too about the smell when they fling the doors open - just tells you that you're 'home'

Sadly, I won't be coming 'home' this year due to circumstances but really hope to return in 2013 (provisional booking made so fingers & toes crossed!) and will just have to rely on this forum and the pics/videos to get my Arillas fix. Very jealous of you all!
