Hello all you Arillacs

Only 99 days to go until I set foot in Arillas for the very first time. 

Hoping it will be a late afternoon arrival if flights are on time.

Quick unpack then head for the nearest supermarket for provisions.

A few ouzo's on the balcony watching the sunset and then i've decided on Brouklis lamb chops for my first meal, stifado for him.

Can't come quick enough ...........

Welcome Nora! Well you have certainly chosen well for your choice of first meal. By FAR my very favourite meal in Arillas! Mmmm lamb chops! Sublime, divine...I could go on and on!!... Where are you staying?

Yes I have been doing a lot of research on this forum and noted the rave reviews of the lamb chops!

I am staying in the Kaloudis for 2 weeks - hoping to get a studio with a view.

Nora, you will love Kaloudis. We stayed once in October on a cheapie last minute but always go independent if we can. Had a glorious last week of season then. But we are always welcomed like family on our frequent visits to the pool and bar.

Nearly next door, up a forbidding flight of steps, is Efi's. You really mustn't  miss having a meal there. If you like seafood, ask for phil's extra garlic prawns. They are now legendary and eaten by so many I've lost count.

Only 99 sleeps! Have a great time and tell us all about it when  you get back.

Hi Nora you will love Arillas,also a very wise choice indeed with the lamb chops in Broukliss ,one thing for sure to try there is Dimitris spit roast chicken its absolutely gorgeous as is the food in most restaurants Yammas

You are making us jealous.We have to wait until end of June to enjoy paradise.All the restuarants we have tried for the last 7 years have been fine.Itis all a matter of taste for food and atmosphere.For us if you want good food and a bit of banter we would suggest you try Spiros at Portofino.
