Post office exchange rate
« on: August 17, 2010, 10:55:41 AM »
Fantastic service, ordered yesterday on line delivered to home 8.30 this morning free of charge and a rate of 1.188 - service is free delivery if you order £500 or more.  Your currency is delivered to your door next day if you order before 3pm.  Very pleased with service and rate.

Was this done on line or did you have to go to the post office? Viv

Viv, this was done online - you have the choice of delivery to your home or local post office for free - the online rate was 1.188 and actually over the counter at the post office only 1.13

glad to be of help Viv - its good when you find such good service and not bad rate - I popped into Thomas cook on saturday as the daughter needed some euros quickly and only got 1.14 so its worth grabbing a deal when you can and with not having to move out of the house fab!!!! and to be fair to post office at least you dont have to wait in all day as they guarantee before 1pm and we are luckly our van post office deliveries are always early in the morning so for us the whole process was a dream x

hope you are feeling better and that you do get to go to Arillas later in the season - but remember it will still be there next year and you have to ensure you are fit enough xx

My daughter and I have both just used the on-line service, but we collected at the post office - a very good service - no fuss, no commission and a very good rate!!

ICE http://www.iceplc.com/ also have a good service, similar to PO, next day before 1.00pm delivery and no charge for orders over £500. Todays rate is EU - Euro
£1 = 1.1891 . Have used several times without any problems
