no confirmation

Hi all, don't know if anyone can help, but we're coming to Arillas on Monday 17th May.We booked a taxi on this site and have received no confirmation. I also emaied San Stefano travel with no response so I tried ringing them, it sounds like the line is disconnected. Does anyone have any suggestions?

San Stefano travels email was working about a month ago as I was confirming boat hire prices for 2010. Keep trying and hopefully you will get a reply.

Marcus you shouldn't fret. Noula (who is ever so slightly related to Dimitris...) is very reliable. Just like the Krasaki family (Arillas cars.) Am so glad Eggy has stepped in to help. Take up his offer and buy him a large ouzo when you arrive.... Jelly Babies might be a good alternative!!

Having seen that post I Emailed it to  Noula including  Marcus's Email address

She has aparently sent tree emails to confirm but they were never received for some reason
But She also phoned back So the problem is now Sorted!!!

Quick update....the taxi was at the airport, woooohoooo. Home again now, boooooo. Had a great time despite the weather's best efforts. It was a struggle to leave the inlaws there for another week (they're still there, so if you meet Jean and Alan, say hello)!!

Think there must be problems with emails as I have had to complete the online booking form again as had no confirmation.  If haven't had response by Monday will try phoning Noula

A common problem with filling forms is that IF you don't fill in your email properly,
then there is no way to receive a confirmation,
An other problem could be that the confirmation could end up in your junk -spam folder , therefore you did not see it.

I don't think that  Noula or her Staff would not send a confirmation for any other reason.

Their reputation and excellent services are the reason why I list their taxi service in our website.

And as a user, I can confirm what Dimitris says. The sad bit for us is that if we book with Noula we don't with Theo. We always struggle with that one.

Hi Dimitris we always book taxi's through Noula and have never had any problems at all, wouldn't book through anyone else as they are so reliable.  She actually phoned me last night to confirm when she received my second booking form, it seems there are a few people who have not received the confirmation emails she has been sending so she wasn't sure of there was a problem with the link.

Hello Jill and every one.
I;m sure that all the people who run a taxi service in Arillas are doing their best for their clients.   
I have talked to Noula about this and we double-checked the system.
It seems to be working ok.
There have been a few people who have not filled their email properly so the confirmation comes back as undelivered. In that case Noula always uses the applied phone number in order to confirm the booking.

I think a good idea would be that anyone who has emailed Noula and hasn't receieved a reply should PM Dimitris so that he can confirm your details with her? Just a thought

That would be nice Jill but not everyone who books a taxi is necessarily a member.
I have just spoken to Noula again, she tells me that there has been two cases that the email was filled wrong.
