There was an hour and a half delay on this flight when we were in departures this morning.
Did not see Riggers at the Airport, there was a large queue to get through to departures  but It could well have been his flight

I'm just wondering if this has delayed Nan's late holiday deal as Colin , Lynn  and I were hoping to meet her around 4pm ish yesterday at Kaloudis.

At 5:30 pm she still hadn't turned up. Jimi, behind the bar said no new guests had come in that day?

More news later , maybe.

That was our flight alright...grrrrrrrr coach picked us up early at Kaloudis, it was nice and cool. I was thinking this ok. We got to the airport, first in queue..great.Thomson rep announced 1hr 35 min delay...boooh, but livable. Anyway we checked in and did the usual duty free etc..Soon after that announcement over loud speaker the plane has just left Manchester. It did arrive 3 hrs later....and i was feeling better. Then about an hour later more noise from speakers.(we will keep you up to date). By this time we knew something was not right, to be confirmed later as flight being cancelled due to technical problem, part on the way from midlands.Anyway we had to go back to duty free have bags sealed and off to a hotel in Dassia we went. It was a very large place called Chandris...4 star ,well it was supposed to be(kaloudis rooms were 10 times cleaner...no joke). Nice meal at night though-buffet style. €4.50 for small bottle of beer, supermarket i went. Up this morning 5.00 and over to depart from hotel 6.30. Then it was down to airport to depart at 08.30, all ,captain apolagising...he then says just one last problem....two of your fellow passengers has got up late and they will be here in about 30 mins....grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. More delays.

JUST GOT IN NOT LONG AGO....riggers tired

Welcome home Riggers.

Thank goodness the delay was at the end of your holiday and not the beginning.

Sleep well...then come back and tell us all your news.

I would be upset riggers. Dassia is NOT Arillas. And bet you and Sue are exhausted. Like everyone says tho - glad you're both back in one piece...
