They usually come on sale six months before the start, that much I know. As for the destinations I think you just have to keep your eye on the website.

I for one am ready to book which ever day they come on sale ;)

Are you sure Kes? Gatwick's flights weren't published till 5 December and I thought Manchester was after that.....

yes, we usualy book our May holiday as soon as we return from the October shift....and when I checked (last october)there were return flights costing around £95.00...I left it a couple of days and when I went back they had doubled in price....

so keep a close watch...

Well we booked as soon as the Gatwick flights came out and that was definitely Dec and the manchester ones werent released until after that, much to my disgust seeing as I live 45 mins away! Obviously I wouldn't have considered Gatwick had I known they were planning on using Manchester.  Oh well some you win eh! ..

we looked into changing but it would have worked out a good few hundred quid more, plus I had already booked a gatwick hotel by then so would have lost that money as well.  Everything in, including parking overnight stay and petrol I reckon we still have saved around £300 on last years prices so still worth doing despite the added journey.

Must be loosin me marbles...  I know we had a panic on when we lost our XL flights  last September..and we re-booked with TC  for October ...It must have been as you say January when we booked for the following May...
