Kostas on the beach

We were lucky enough to be able to dine at Kostas last night on their re-opening. It was a pleasure and a priviledge to be able to sit at our favourite table again. It was very well attended, with a few emotional moments as some dropped in just for a hug and to offer their good wishes.
It rounded of what was yet again a fabulous 2 weeks in Arillas, only slightly marred by the thunderous weather in the second week. On the upside however, the storms did wonders for the south beach, which is now about 3 times the size of 2 weeks ago and sandy all the way into the sea to boot!
On the downside, we seem to have brought the stormy weather home with us!

I am so glad that Kostas on the beach as opened again myself and Leigh was in Arillas in June and it was firstly so sad to hear the news about Kostas but secondly that the restaurant was closed its always been a main favourite of the wifes. Now its opened again Im sure that Kostas will be looking down smiling having a beer somewere looking down at all his friends and customers enjoying his great restaurant again. We will be back again in September for 2 weeks and cant wait to eat prawn saganaki again and have a beer rememberinga  lovely guy. Yammas
