Hi Phil

I know, I know..I 'm getting on my own nerves with all this indecision!!

x Miriam

p.s nothing wrong with being an Arillas p*** artist, if you can't let your hair down on holiday when can you?!  (Tho I'm sure you're not - re your last post and the vodka, I had some 70% proof vodka back when I was student - oh my word, i was hallucinating for days!! As a result cant touch the stuff anymore, just stick to G & t now....)

Eillen luvver how long have yous been doing acronyms?

You must be an ASS (Arillas Scottish Siren)
Or EVIL (Eileen's villa is Linakis)
Or ARILLAS (a really intersting local lady and Scottish )
Or LINAKIS (Look it's nearly as kinky in summer)
Or RATARSED (Really a trial A RoyalIonian Slips Easily Down)

Jen said the last one was for Erja....

See you in Arillas if you want to speak to us again.
Love
Phil and Jen

I'm a bit late in reading all these posts, originated by Miriam, but I did chuckle when I ready she was fond of Gerald Durrell, round about the time there were several posts about the bathroom at Kaloudis..... I seem to remember someone in My Family and Other Animals saying something along the lines of  "why you need a bathroom - you have the sea!" because that came to mind the first time we went to a Greek island!
Miriam - if you've not already booked do so - Arillas and its people are SO fantastic

Hi Miriam
I agree with Janis - it's time to get booking.  Am sure you'll find the Kaloudis fine.  Was there last year and am booked for September this year.  Handy for the beach, has cooking facilities, nice pool & wonderful gardens, plus little shop where you can get baked beans and Kelloggs cornflakes if you need to.
Best wishes
PJ

Arillas Bay has recieved some bad press before but it is in a great setting for a relaxing holiday. The appartments are basic but you only sleep there right? It depends how many are travelling. Another option is Mirage.

That's very good advice MicK-G. Mirage is a wonderful setting for young families. We spent several visits there last two weeks, and the kids were really enjoying it, all in relative safety. We love seeing happy kids, but some want to avoid them. You can do that as well. And the view from the pool or the bar is breathtaking, straight out over the sea.

It is only package or we would consider it. I think it is Thomas Cook.

Good luck miriam, and yes we did have a fantastic holiday!

We stay at mirage and it is great for kids. My son is 13 and in May he had a 6 year old bossing him about and telling him that her was her boyfriend, it was really funny to watch. Also Angela and Nikos's lads, Vasillis and Spiros are good entertainment for the kids.
