New to Arillas

Hello all, just thought I'd drop you a wee note to thank you for all the useful information I've found on the site. Myself and my partner Drew are visiting Arillas for the first time this coming Friday and I have really enjoyed reading about all the happenings and wonderful places to eat and drink. We are looking forward to a well deserved holiday and Arillas sounds like the perfect place to forget about everything and unwind for two weeks.
Looking forward to the Arillas experience and will no doubt recognise a few faces from their forum posts.

We are staying at the Mathraki apartments. All of the comments on the site about them seem really positive. We really like the greek hospitality - went to a high rise hotel in spain a few years ago and never again. Doesn't compare with the level of care and attention you get from family run apartments.

Hi Linssey and welcome to the forum.  We stayed at Mathraki in May this year.  You will LOVE them, lovely and clean and Akis and his family are just the best.

Hi all,
I  would like to thank you all for all the great information i have read.I'm sure it will help enhance our holiday to arillas in 3 wks time.We have never been to Corfu before and we have chosen to stay at Dionyssos 1.
I'm sure our 2 wks away will be as wonderful as everyone on this forum says it is.

You will love Dionyssos....it's part of the Rainbow complex run by Jimmy and Spiros and their lovely family who will look after you well. An excellent choice....

we have just got back from arillas and had a bad experience in the 1st week at the arillas bay apartments but our 2nd week was fantastic after being moved hotels. arillas is a lovely place with such warm and welcoming people.
if you like a friendly atmoshere when looking for somewhere to have a few drinks try the akti arilla. this is where we were moved to and is a fantastic place that also serve great food even though the resturant is underused. also the marina is a nice place to eat, its right on the beach front so lovely view, we went back there afe times during our stay.

Our first Arillas holiday was in Dionyssos 1 and we loved it. As Sandy said you can't go wrong with Jimmy and Spiros. Although we now stay in a larger appartment we still call in to see the boys most nights. So enjoy.
