Sorry, will buy you and your man a nice meal next time we are all together. Love Viv
Sorry Ang----and the question was--- O yes-- during the day as well. Viv

Sounds like a fabulous meal and I love mash potatoes.  I was amazed when I saw mash on the menu in a Greek restaurant for the first time and that was in Ag. Gordios but it does go so well with the delicious sauces they come with the meat.  Kostas does some fantastic meals, love the Kleftiko, it had a mustard coating.  Makes my mouth water.

We ate at Kostas on their opening night as well.  Decided to do it the Greek way and order a selection of starters - giant beans, stuffed peppers, cheese pies and cheese saganaki.  Only trouble is we filled the table and there was no room for Viv and Pete's meals!!
I'm drawling now just thinking of the walnut pud with ice ceam!  ;)

Really sad to hear Thalassa may not be opening this season.  We always have a couple of meals there at least. Usually treat it as a special night out. I really hope they sort things out.
Have to agree with you Ang it is a worry when two of the main establishments in prime sights are not to open though.

viv - that sounds delicious. like BG I adore the sauce and mashed potatoes. Jen hates it - she won't even have baked beans on the same plate as mash. Everyone to thier own eh? As for walnut pud, ice cream and honey - bring it on..........

We sometimes have a just pud night - we can never eat both cos we always cook too much, so we forget the main course and just have pud.

Can't believe we might not have Giannis and Litsa's stamna or Penelope's Delight in July (or their wonderful company.) We just spent lunchtime in the pub discussing our very altered plans for the two weeks if it really happens. PortoFino for the sunsets maybe.

best wishes
Phil

Like everyone else I hope and pray that this beautiful Taverna is open.  Like previous posters have said, it seems almost sacrilege that another beachfront location will be empty..

We did that Phil one day. We werent that hungry so just had omelettes at Poppys (BS studios) and later on  had crepes at Helens which made a nice change.  This year I want to get one of those lovely soft bread kebabs from the snack bar and sit on the beach with a bottle of wine and watch the sun go down.

Any developments with Thalassa opening? Due out in 3 weeks time and would really miss this place it stays shut.
