Isn't there a craft shop by the church in Afionas?

Yes, there is the shop in Afionas. There is also a ceramics workshop on the right hand side coming out of Corfu Town...just past a shell garage before you turn right at the Paleokastritsa junction.

Not sure about local pottery but the are some beautiful olive wood pieces about locally. Need to shop around though.

Irini's shop in Arillas sells all sorts of art and crafts and she is a lovely, helpful person.

Also Perditas Glass Art in San Stefanos has some really nice items.

As I said in my recent holiday post, Irini has lots of new things in her shop this season.....well worth a visit....just opposite Whispers.
