sheila we are with you on that. "It's right" means that both sides have acknowledged that the right answer is a compromise without ruining other people's lives, holidays or wishes. And services continue while a good and honest solution is worked out.
Unions are so controversial but sometimes you have to stand up and be counted. I have been. But as a teacher I have NEVER let down my students. My A level results today prove it. Or rather my students' results prove it. The days of Arthur Scargill are over thank heaven. But why do we keep getting into these situations? People who don't understand the compromise and resolve-it attitude, those who believe that confrontation and provocation will improve their career prospects...
