Whoop Whoop Whoop!  Only 3 months today and we will be on route to Newcastle Airport ready for our 06.10 flight the next morning:)  Wow - what a journey it has been to get to this point!  Financial woes, family woes, Thomas Cook issues regarding their trading problems!

Today however, all seems to be going to plan and I am honestly looking forward to this holiday more than any in times passed!  Mainly down to all the lovely threads on this forum.

I 'bit the bullet' this morning regarding TCs pathetic 15 kg luggage allowance.  It has cost me an extra £40 for Darling Daughter Livi and I to have an extra 5kg each way.  However, since I have looked forward to this holiday so much it seems silly to spoil the build up by worrying about what we can take and what we have to ditch.  Livi in particular likes dressing up on an evening (she is 12 years but going on 16 years if you know what I mean).

Three months !!!!!!!!!!

Oh, by the way, we both now know the words of the Arillas Song and Livi even admits to liking it now - crikey, she normally reserves her praise for Rihanna, One Direction and others, so that's a real honour, lol.  Thus anyone on the 23rd July Newcastle flight would be advised to block their ears!

Three months!  (That means a bit of April, two full months, and a bit of July - so you could say it is only 2 months if you exclude the partial ones):)

15 sleeps and then am on m y way yippie

Hi Angela

We are also going on 23rd July. Not from Newcastle though but Stansted although i am a Geordie born and bred! Where are you staying? You never know we might bump into each other. My daughter is 14 going 18 so know the feeling!!

Hi Ness.  We are staying at the Tria Adelphia.  You will easily be able to pick the two of us out of the crowd - both blonde and both vertically challenged, lol.  Probably singing as we wonder round - we both sing to much although Livi is starting to get to the age where my warblings embarrass her a little - it won't stop me though!

Well, I'm ashamed to say that I have not been on the Forum for a very, very long time.  But - as my holiday looms nearer, I have definitely reignited the Arillas bug with a vengance and so tonight I logged on and remembered all that I have been missing.  We go 21 May for 2 weeks and can't wait.  Very, very excited folks.  Hope to see lots of you there.  W. xxxxxx :o)

Hi Angela

I,like yourself is a little vertically challenged! I am with my partner and my 2 kids,18 and 14 who tower above me so will not be hard to miss either!! We are staying at the Kaloudis. We will keep an eye and ear out for the 2 of you!
