Did somebody knows if is available a map of Corfu for satellite navigator?

Is it possible to put the GPS COORDINATES of the most interesting place in Arillas like Brouklis, Kostas Appartments or Graziella.

There is someboby in Arillas with satellite navigator who can give all this coordinates?

For Ex, Brouklis shoul be: 39.7449°N 19.6501°E

As far as I know only the World Basemap is available from Garmin for most of Greece outside Athens. I had a unit in Corfu summer 2006 and only the most major roads were on it,

Would be really good to find also the other road and to introduce the POI for the most interesting place in corfu as restaurants, beaches etc..etc..

Hi All!
I prefer to go 'old tech' and trust my copy of 'Walks in Corfu' complete with very detailed map of the north west of Corfu. Also a 'sister book' on the wildlife and plants both published by Marengo Publications available on the 'net' for about £8 and £6 respectively. Every path and trail and all roads are clearly marked. Wouldn't be without it!

Martin.

Hello everybody!

Yes, there IS a GPS navigator available for Corfu, and it's made in Arillas! You can have a look on our website at http://www.intech.com.gr/index.php?go=GPSTourist . It's called GPS Tourist and next to being a full GPS navigator, it's also a digital Tourist guide of Corfu, containing loads of photos and information! It is being released this summer and will be available for rent from several places on Corfu, including Arillas Rent a Car.

Check out the photo of Arillas beach on our site! Kindly provided by Dimitris!

I'll be glad to answer any more questions!

Hi alxcfu,

I am getting my car from Theo so I will have to make sure that I have included the rental of one of your GPS Tourist kits. It will be like getting a new toy as soon as holiday starts, and the perfect test for it would be the journey from the Airport to Arillas.

I hope you are very successful with the equipment and you soon expand to other areas of Greece.

I found the links  on your website very useful as well.
