Mud for all?
« on: August 21, 2007, 10:18:25 PM »

My wife and I would like to cover ourselves in Glorias mud.
Does she share it with others, or is it just for specific beach users?

We have done this abroad before and had a jolly nice time.  :-)

The last time we unwittingly wandered into "Special Beach", we got chucked off for being "Textiles".  Is there an area where we could do it without arousing others?

Hi James W
Don't see why you can't go to the north end of the beach, textile or not, and cover yourselves in the greeny/grey mud to your hearts content.
When Julia and I visited in June, some wore trunks/costumes and some did not.  Never saw anyone chucked off (although perhaps there was a hard stare if your were not bare. (Is that poetry?)).
Why not just do what you want?  Its a free world and there are no rules to say you can't cover yourselves in mud if you want to and keep your cossies on!
Best wishes
PJ

Hi PJ.
Thank you for your 'inside info'

We'll check it out whilst we're there, in a few weeks time.  :-)

Maybe there is a time of day when the beach is likely to be empty, or, bare?  ;-)

We treat ourselves to the mud baths every year and have never had to go as far as the nudie beach, just go along as far as the cliffs & you will find plenty of clay to cover yourselves with.
Enjoy,
Carol

Hi carol2.
Thank you for that info. We thought the mud/clay was in the area further North.  :-)

Didn't wish to give, or receive, embarrassment.  ;-)

So if anyone in the area sees two elderly, disabled folk getting dirty on the beach in September........  ;-)

We got all muddied up this year and didnt go on the nudist beach.  Left of the Sea Breeze there is loads of the stuff.
If you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain.

Ha ha mazzz.  :-)

The mud I refer to in the thread is actually clay.

If you cover yourself in it and let the sun dry it, you can then wash it off and you'll find you're 5 years younger.  ;)

If I do it every day next week, I'll be a baby.  ;-)
