Anyone who wants to come for a drink:
I'll be at Horizon topdeck every night at sunset taking photos
untill thursday 17th. Afterwards I'll be off to Messonghi for a week.
Sending lots of photos when I return.

I think we could be with Connie, virtually, by seeing if we can see her on the webcam. So Connie, could you please stand in the corner of the deck, that can be seen on the webcam, and give us a wave every night. :-)

Sorry to have upset you, Terry!!

I will do my best to make it up one day,
and perhaps you'll see me on the webcam,
but I JUST might be too shy for that, we'll see, he he.

I will look out then Lynn, but not between 7.30pm and 10.00pm as there is a rather important football match on TV :-)

You guys would not like Arillas Today.

18:10 and still a shaded temp of 30deg. ( No sign of rain all day! )

People having a good time on the beach and tucking into that late "small" lunch.
WOTSITALLABOUT?
- Do they think they are on holiday?
- Are they here to enjoy?
- And where's the Lager Louts? - Hmmmm!

Mick n Jill n Calum n Mam go home tomorrow. Where happened to that 7 days?
( Calum's final "bye-bye" to me was 84 out on the Dartboard.) - and..........
.....WOTSTHATALLABOUT as well? I now have until Sept to practice. They will be Back.

A few munchies with Mavis n Robin tonite , after a few munchies of Bombay mix this PM, courtesy of Tony n Glenda. Ivan n Avril will join us tomorrow for a few more munchies and Riggers and me, I hope, will have liquid refreshers at the Nut.
Kevin G n Babs n Kay will be available as well, to join in with a few orange juices and Colin n Lynn are currently in hiding. - ( Yer darts aint that bad you two ! )

I meanwhile am having a "laid back" breakdown, no one has nervous ones here, trying to get 36 hours from a day. -
It may not be done but it's bloody good fun trying.
Cheers All
Negg

Thanks Neill. Usual up-beat tales of daily life in June.

I now understand the 36 hour day, it's what I try to squeeze in every time I'm there. But at a typical, laid back pace, brought on by feelings of peace and contentment. Things take their time, and plans disappear within hours of landing. Avrio is a word I have learned means "when and if you're ready." And if you're not, so what??

Phil

Phil

Now it's 7:15 and the temp is 31 deg.

Cheers from an un-shaved and slightly sweaty Egg who has to now make the effort to get in that shower for munchies tonite.
( Shall I put the water on this time? - Seems to work better that way! )

Yer not wrong Guv. - Avrio is a good word here.

Cheers
Negg

John the Ref - You little footie wizard you!
You just don't know the brain stress I have been though this morning.
Do I do this or do I do that or do I do what I should have done yesterday.
( Then , Totally exhausted I had to sit down for a small bevvie before being ready for the afternoon )
Taint teasy donchyerknow!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Arillas has been a very good Arillas today

It was good to share a late morning drinkie with Maggie n Gordon and equally it was good to see our good pals, Ivan n Avril,  for a lunchtime break.
Equally good it twas ,to drive into Arillas this afternoon and see so many cars spread around. - Parking place for Egg? - Search me'boy. - Found a diddley one.
( Good also to keep brain working and make an effort sometimes )
Many sunbeds in use on the beach and many new WHITE and BLUE n WHITE ones.
( This info only for those that read in black n white only -Eh? - Wotsallthatabout)

Twere also good to see those places that we all love and respect sharing this "Guest onslaught" and looking after many smiley faces.

( 26 deg at 2pm - 31 deg at 7:30pm - It can only be smiley faces! )

Also very good was to see, at least 6 couples in Sea Breeze, lounging around what looked to me a very inviting pool. -

Best "good" of all was the beer in the "NUT" with Riggers and Sue and Kevin G who very quickly appeared on his 29cc moped. Then followed by an exhausted Colin n Lynn who had been on an Island hop. ( Well , that's what they told us - Hmmmm! )
Nut has got HD Sky now ! - All they need now is an HD Dartbioard!

So, good , good , good , all round and now the best good for me is to, soon,  settle down to the goodies that Wegg has prepared for tonight's repast.

Then, maybe , watch a bit of TV.
(That don't sound so good so we may sit outside until dew drops drip from my nose!)

Stay Well all
Negg

Eileen, I would be one of those who would know what a "wee swally" is! Twas a pleasure to enjoy one and an excellant lunch with Negg and Wegg. I didn't however have Neill's energy and retired for an apres lunch snooze! All in all it's been a pretty perfect Arillas today
