Are people really queuing to go in the sea, Eggy?!

*Gulp!*

Eggy

There's a queue Nicki. - But why is everybody stood in line? They could step left or right a tad and queue jump.
And rumour has it........
........ Arillas council are planning to install "Pay as yer Go" turn styles just along the waters edge. Not sure about the pay as yer go as I have never had to pay just to "go" in the sea!!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

And, yes there's more, .......... The TIMBO has landed!!!
Together, with his good lady, they lost no time in starting their well earned break within 10 minutes of arriving, last night. Visits to Rainbow, Malibu , Coconut plus others, which they can't remember!. - Not suprised!
Today, chilling out at Mathraki with temps of around 36deg
They probably plan to unpack cases some time tonight! - Maybe!
Cheers

Sorry phil will have to try and post just so your addiction is fed regularly. Went to Bar Akrotiri last night to see the sunset but alas it was too hazy. Walked down donkey track in the dark which was an interesting experience! Fortunately Paul did have a small torch which stopped me falling over the edge at the narrow bits! Nice breeze atm so maybe not so hot but I doubt it. Sea is beautifully warm and often I am in it ages ...... In fact I feel a swim now . Have a good day i know I will. Annie xx

What do I say about ArillasnToday?

Midweek and nowhere for an 'ole Punto and even older man!
36/37 deg and such a vibrant atmosphere with everyone having a good time and doing their own thing.

The queues to the sea have been sorted now, I think you take a ticket and then wait until your number is called.
Pics tell it better than me.

The only sad news today was for "Strubee" the little dog of our late good pal Kostas from "Kostas on the Beach"
Strubee decided, after all these years, that it was his time and took a little walk on the beach before he said farewell to Arillas and all those who cared for him. - If only I could depart that way a happy man I would be.

Be well all

Erja

Awwwww! What sad news about the lovely little Strubee :(

But Arillas is looking like a truly happy place :)
Life is good ;)

Stephanie

Oh no, sad news about Strubee :(  Now reunited with Kostas.   Will miss seeing him wandering around.

Good to see Arillas looking so wonderful.  Got real withdrawal symptoms at the moment but the forum is keeping me going and I'll be back in July 2013

More sad news is saying "Ta Ta" to Timbo and Kaylee today.

7 days goes quicker than a tortoise on a bicycle.
(Or our cat with ..... - maybe won't go there)

Much good fun had by me , and I hope them. Always sad saying goodbye to good friends whose company we enjoy but only spend time with occassionally.
But... each Summer I manage to catch up with a few more and tag more faces to names. - Can't be that bad.

28 deg at 7:40 pm and e1.25 showing on exchange. - PERDYDAMMGOOD

Busy Arillas and left my Punto in a green "wheeliebin" as that was the only space left. - Bugger getting out of the drivers door though after parking up.

WOTELSECANISAY??. - C'mon down! The price is right.
(Who used to shout that on a game show?)

Cheers

Lesley Crowther I think

JohnJ
JOHN JOHNSON

Eggy

Yer not wrong John!

It was a "C'mon down the BREEZE is right" for Arillas today.

It gave me the impression of a "Get Sand Blasted" event but although waves were choppy and "fizzy" there were many people in that sea enjoying a "Greek Surfboard Time" Sort of like Newquay but a tad more sun.

Temps were still hovering around 30 deg and today you get e1.25.
(I'd prefer temps of 25deg and e1.30 - can't win em all)

Very busy there with few spaces to park and many bars/tavernas looking after late lunchtime guests.

All in all - Many satisfied customers.

Arillas Today, in August, continues to spoil its clientele.

30 deg , still at 5pm and e1.25 on the board. Good to see Whispers open but no pics yet as I cannot do this without finding Yiannis. It looks good though.

The heat continues to zap the energy of not only me , but also our youngest Moggie, Fritz, who is also tyred.
