EEG
Not to be out done I took a couple of Arillas this morning. I even ventured out on the pier, but not too far out as some of waves looked in "soaking mode"

...

Fascinating how each side of the beach, taken within a couple of minutes of each other, can look so different.

It's another very peaceful and non chilly Arillas today, although the sea is a little noisy.

Small snippet of info. - Hotel Akti Arilla has a swimming pool planned for this year.
I'm told it's going where the car parking area is and will be ready for May. There's a few bits of building materials being bought there so maybe they are staing work soon.

Cheers all from a 15 deg in the shade Corfu - But with a few rain clouds hovering.
Negg

Looks fantastic... I just fancy a nice long walk along the beach
If you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain.

With a super day here today and had no choice but go on a recce to Arillas.

3 people fishing from the pier and a few people strolling along the beach. 5 or 6 vehicles parked up and work continuing at Marina and Malibu.  Haven't seen it this busy for a while.

Wegg took a walk along the cliff path,as she promised, & here are a couple of photos.
She felt quite safe up there but probably not something either she or I would like to do at night. I'm not keen during the day-Just looking at it tires me out !

Pitch black, excess alcohol  and this path do not mix at all.
If you do a night walk then take a very large torch - Or searchlight as used in WW2 )

* Note the safety pegs to stop you falling over the edge ! *
-------------------------------------------------------------
However, it just has to be worth a stroll during the day if only to take in the views that are on offer.

So, on a really lovely Sunday afternoon here with a sunny 15 deg at Kavvadades, no barking dogs and a football match that has just finished we bid you all a good day.

Cheers
Negg

Many thanks Wegg & Negg for the photos.
The track seems to have survived so far the ravages of the winter, but quite agree that you need all your senses about you if you go up there.
Its strangely warm here in Lincolnshire too.  It was 13°C at 7.45am this morning.  We are already up to 92 milimetres of rain so far this month equalling the 1999 record for January (that was for a full month though)!
All the best
Pat

Lisa n Steve
The information I have been given is that Hotel Marina 3rd floor, scheduled for completion by May, will be very upmarket larger style appts. Work is progressing very quickly there and, if you backtrack this topic ,you will get a few pics.

I'm also told that they plan a swimming pool as well.

This 3rd floor doesn't stick out like a sore thumb but seems to sit comfortably within it's surroundings. Whoever stays there will have a fantastic view.

Cheers
Negg
