Electronics have messed up the perfection of our stay, but threats from the Boss to ban me from the forum (er, only for 2 hours) because I didn't mention him in all my Today posts were delivered at Akrotiri this afternoon. So now I admit, he and I have shared affectionate moments involving one hand and a raised thumb. There might have been a hug. Litsa was her charming self, and young Spiros grows more beautiful by the day. But with parents like his, are you surprised?

I thought Saturday would be enough from me, but chastened by the Boss I have given in. At times Akrotiri was drenched in hot sun, maybe 25 degrees, at others it was cool and windy. But it was always cool. And friggin packed.... People understand quality. And boy are the views QUALITY! I have never seen all of the Diapontian islands at once, and so clear. It fair blew me away.

Many Greek Dimitris were introduced to me, so I could feel guilty about forgetting their names. They will worry less about it than this simple old man who loves Arillas. Arillas Today? It was f*ing PERFECT.

Have fitted in another one. Jen has the blues big-time. I live with a menstrual woman for forty odd years, then tonight the whole lot exploded into the usual female illogical logic. Arillas tonight sees her very unhappy to come back to UK. She has just explained that she hasn't eaten any fish this week. I will leave it to your own imaginations where this will lead.  With any luck.....

Kalinichta!!!!!

Well guys.... Phil and Jen have taken 3 deg, back with them, to Glastonbury.
(Only 17 deg here at midday. Still pleasant in the sun though)

This Arillas today thread has taken over 200 hits in the last 24 hours, but now our passionate reporter is back in the UK I wonder if that will settle down?  (Currently 938053 since the first ever post)

There looks to be many here to enjoy the "Paska" celebrations. Many eggs will soon be smashed.
(Including me but only if I drink too many Ouzos!)

Arillas now getting busy mid April? - WOTSTHATALLABOUT. ??

Cheers

Arillas Today must be the arrival of Sandy. Angie and that "Young Bugger", who has been given the title of "Oldest Arilliac"  Father Eric. (Sandys's Pop not a priest) He's a tad taller than Arnold Swartzen..... etc  but maybe not as ugly, and when he shook my hand I thought I cannot to hold a dart for the next month.

Good to see them, all well, and coming in to a 20 deg outside at 1pm ish.

Methinks many Retsinas will soon be consumed and Eric will be , very soon , part of the Night Owl darts family. Nickos (Owl) has been waiting for his special partner for a long time.

Cheers

We will see Sandy in July, but I am sad I am not going to get my hand crushed, and meet her wonderful dad. Best wishes to them for a wonderful time. For it to be any more wonderful than ours is impossible....

And for that I want to use Arillas Today to record our heartfelt thanks for the hospitality, friendship and downright affection we received from all of those we met and who might read this.

Some kind person had left some retsina in my fridge, along with the requested milk. Ange and I managed to consume the lot after my dad had gone to bed last night. Yammas!
