Arillas Today

Well, you have to do it all. Jen had her regulation pool, but I did naked Germans. No phobia etc here. They were German.

One guy, completely naked, was throwing stones at the cliffs for a whole hour. As I left I asked him what he was trying to dislodge and he said "anything." Two equally naked women, not 50 metres from Graziella were dancing, posing etc whilst an equally naked man was sleeping with gay (or not?) abandon opposite.

Me? I waddled up Graziella steps, said hello to stefano at Vinceremo and came back to post on Arillas Today. I will feel quite sane when I go out tonight! Yes, justphil is justnormal by comparison HA HA!

Arillas still has the power to surprise me.

Phil, your Arillas Today is a great tonic after being cooped up driving that mechanical thing that gets me money to visit my favourite place.  10 hours today but all is better after reading your (and others) posts here.  Thanks for cheering me up!!

Arillas tonight absolutely squared all of the circles.

We have spent quality time with folk from Belfast, Wales and Scotland let alone Somerset in England today. To cap it all off we were offered a lift home by Night Owl Linda who adds UsA to it all.

A magical afternoon was spent with Eggy, sandra and Jim at the Rainbow. Followed by a delicious meal at Thalassa and drinks with Dai from Wales. Then Black Russians in the Nut with George and Jill and Lizzie who are very scottish and apparently forum fans under the illusion that I know everything about Arillas. All I know is how much I love it. Did I mention that before?

Altogether, as Arillas Today merges into Arillas tomorrow, you have a very contented and happy Phil and Jen whose day has been spectacularly enjoyed in bucketloads.

Maybe see you tomorrow, but no promises.

Posting at half past two, the temperature is a balmy 28 degrees with not a wisp of cloud in the sky and a wonderful light wind. The beach is a bit narrower today, but my patch of sand yielded a perfect hour of sun at 10am.

The echange rate is epected to be about 1.13, but will tell you what we actually get later after we manage to get as far as Arillas Travel having remembered the Passport this time. We have been trying for 2 days already.....

Phil's brain has still not arrived here, and I continue to bumble along worrying about nothing. My Arillas mood is eactly what you would epect! Brain dead..... And the letter before y doesn't work on this keyboard either.

Anyone visiting Arillas Today is in for a summer treat. Everything is here, just waiting to be had.

Will do pics if and when my brain arrives!

Wednesday afternoon, at Sharons Pool Bar, "Hippopots" are doing a ceramic display of their super goodies for sale. I hope they will put a posting on to tell you more. Jackie and Pete (Hippos) have settled down very well, with their business in Ag. Stephanos, and now, look for an Arillas meet up with Forum  guys in Arillas not only to proudly show their wares but also meet some faces from the Forum.
Get yer paintbrush out, Phil. Time to paint a pot and not smoke it! Hee Hee!

The event at sharon's was already in our busy Arillas calendar. Ha Ha Ha. When we are here the word "calendar" has four letters and is unmentionable. But when it is just round the corner, can you imagine us not being there?

Arillas Today is a tad hotter according to our eBay 50p thermometer. 29 degrees. The sky is like a bottle of milk rather than crystal blue, but colours rarely figure in our conversation here.

Many green bottles on tables in Graziella at 11 am, before Mythos o'clock. All surrounded by human bodies lapping them up. I have already taken a slap for the 5 which have been emptied by me ince then....

Many red garments being worn (Yiota darling, red seems to be the new black.....) It is also the colour of my face just now. Red Today, Brown Tomorrow....

Blues are in very short supply. Everyone we meet is finding it all too easy to smile.

The colours of Arillas Today are everything and more to this poor, tortured soul whose face hurts from an overload of smiling and laughing, and who is facing a life sentence of more of the same.....

Rumour has it that Leonidas is now under Psychiatric treatment & Vassilis said:- "Next time don't bring a strong magnet- I kept ending up at your table."
(For those of you who don't know. Vassilis has a little back trouble and is wearing a metal brace for a while)

So, another good day from our new "ROVER"- (Don't bark - never bites though)
Tomorrow afternoon will be good at Sharons Pool bar with "Hippopots" showing their goodies. The question on all lips is:-
"Will Phil show his true artistic values with the art of pottery painting"
Will he confuse his mythos glass with the pot you wash the brushes in?
Will he taste the differerence? - Should I take pictures?. -
Will their Arillas today, tomorrow, be as good as their Arillas Today,& yesterday?
