Wow Eggy and Wendy!
Looked really cold on your picture!
Very nice pic! Here in Germany is the same temperature, but with a lot of sun today!
Brrrr!
I heard from my friends that snow fell on the Pantekrator!
They were on the way to see that, maybe I see a pic tomorrow from that.
Than I show you if I get one!

Not evertone's got the "Tardis" in the boiler room VIv.

About £29 per week at the moment to keep a steady 21 deg in the house.
( Cost has gone upt he last 5/6 days )

Roll on April.

Going into Arillas tomorrow so will have an update for all.

Cheers

Gosh Negg your heating costs are a bit steep,i guess if you calculate across the year then they dont seem too bad,on average we pay about £500 on each gas and elec, always higher in the winter months etc.But Negg most of europe has cheaper oil costs than the uk so how are you still paying £29 pw have the eating man back out if I were you.

Eggy, seems something wrong there to me, I either check your figures or check it out. By the way it was -9 here last night coldest on record.

Ang , Viv and John.
I'm taking the exchange as 1.35 (current) to work out the costs. And the worst week we had was a 60 ltr usage. Mostly it's 45 ltrs per week which is around £24.
Bear in mind that I love warmth and hate it if the temp drops below 20 deg inside.
From May to October useage is minimal We did 150 ltrs over this period which came in at about £12 a week. - Does all this make sense.
( Heating oil here has just gone up to 75 cents per litre as well )

However......................
This afternoon we paid a visit to Dimitris , Litsa and baby.
I felt very privileged to hold the babe and what a lovely little fella he is too.
Very alert to whats going on..OK, I know he's just over 2 weeks old but he is - honest!
It didn't take him long though to doze off, in my arms.
( Has he heard about the hind leg of a donkey, I thought?)
A really great time and family and baby look very well indeed.

Our Arillas today cannot be bettered but we did manage a pic taken from Grazziella.

The rain kept away all day and we did have a twinge of sun every now and again.

A super little babe that Dimitris and Litsa have created. Best wishes to them all.
But , how can some one , with a head that tiny, have more hair than me !?
Cheers
Negg

Hi Neil
Nice post - lovely picture.
Know how you felt holding the little boy.  I held my great neice (3 weeks old - born 26th November) yesterday for the first time.  Its 26 years since I held a little baby!  What a great privelege.
Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for keeping us in the picture with all that's happening in Arillas

Another lovely photo Eggy.

Isn't it interesting to see the difference in the location of the sunset from mid-summer to mid-winter. At least it will start to move back towards San Stef from next week.

Eggy, Did anybody take a photot of you holding Bebis Kourkoules, if so I would love to see it. I cant wait to have a cuddle, if Litsa charges for cuddles by the minute (yeas of Bebis not her) that little boy could have a tidy sum in his piggy bank by the end of the summer season. lol. Viv

hello Every one!
this is a great day  I;v just been driving around to get some fresh fish for my family and took this pictures on the way to San stefano from the clif.
You can see that although in Albania a fiew miles away the mountains are full of snow , the nudist beach of Arillas is still "attractive"
finaly the Graziella Boys had a good catch this morning as you can see on the picture of the day!!
Merry  Christmas

Dimitris
Good pictures -  I tried to capture the snow on the mountains this morning but our poor 'ole camera is just no good enough.

Dimitris is not wrong about the day. It is a glorious day and felt so warm in Arillas.
This pic looks like a summers day to me.

And.................... As you see, work is ongoing at the  Marina Hotel with that 3rd floor.

Viv.
I look an pretty sad extra to the photo of the babe and I think Dimitris may have taken some better ones.

Cheers all

Great pictures Dimitris and Neil.
It really does look like hot summers day. To think that all that snow is just a few miles away!
The Marina look's like it is coming on well also.

Riggers....
