Tried to put a "Real " photo on but would not download.
Now that has to be an omen. Perhaps the site  has a "Hell Fire Wall".
However the image does bear some likeness.  I am not that tall, I am receding, and keep saying " Yipy kiayyyy"
I also  wear sunglasses to stop me being mobbed on the street.

Gino

Jo Wissett

Well I always get Meryl :-(

Excuse me:

Arillas Today is warm and sunny. 25 degrees and not a cloud in the sky. The village is reeling from two weeks of "shit" as Dimitris said last night. I am so sorry for those whose only experience of heaven was "shit." Most will probably never come back. Sad for them, they really don't know what they are missing.

Arillas today is quiet but full of life. We have met several who are first-timers, and all have told us that they will come back. And for many after a week of rain and thunderstorms. Such is the magic of our place.

Arillas today is closing down for the season. Marina, Mirage are already closed. On Monday even Rainbow and Thalassa will close. Don't worry about us though. Phil and Jen will always be content, whatever is open or not. As long as our Arillas survives and continues.

Arillas today said something to me, like the non-existent beach did.

"I WILL BE BACK."

Today the sky was overcast, and then it was sunny, and now the forecast storm is brewing. It is warm and peaceful right now though, even if rain is imminent.

I won't talk about the beach because right now there isn't any. Slight exaggeration I guess, there is a patch opposite Horizon, but I am sure that next summer there will be plenty for everyone.  If not that patch is mine!! Get yer towels off my sunbed.....

Last night was a full on party in the Nut. Even phil couldn't finish the last Black Russian. Our gorgeous Baldy Barry and lovely wife Susan were our main company, and they are both just as hyper as their image suggests. But underneath they are both such beautiful people. We love 'em to bits having only met for a few (pissed) hours! Gaygo and hubbie Nigel have finally crossed paths with PhilandJen, and I can report that none of us were disappointed. Another lovely pair of Arillas Addicts. Safe journey home dears.

Today we ventured far aforth - from Brouklis to Rainbow. We happened on a strange character who calls himself Eggy. Never quite worked it out, but somehow he keeps turning up. Had far too many beers, and his mate Andy who I wanted to call Colin because he was a dead ringer to my brother in law, was another Arillas veteran. 22 years?

Arillas today is alive and well, and PhilandJen are here. Yammas.
