Thank you for the pic's Sara! The puppies looked ever so cute :). And Eileen's lemons looked good too.
Life is good ;)

Thanks for the photo's Sara they are great, as an after thought, has Eggy started talking to cars now that donkeys are getting as rare as hens teeth.   Sorry, but not really Neill. TTFN Mick.

Ha Ha Mick. I had already sussed that the Donkey's hind legs had run out...

But you have put another dimension onto what or whom Eggy talks to these days. Overturned cars?? Dustcarts?? Well, he talks to philandjen for a start...

Have put my legs into yellow-box storage for this year. Apparently they have a life of their own and aren't welcome in Arillas any more. Hope me and jen are...

Sarah brilliant photos - those spring flowers look amazing and Arillas looks so green - can't wait to get back
Mary :)

They are stunning Mary, as you say. We can't wait either.

3am and posting on here sort of explains that. Forum anorak? er no - Arillas Addict. When I can't sleep I dream of the beach, Lara on my lap and Cookie at my feet, the sound of the sea and seeing Gravia in the moonlight. I did that last September and never stop talking about it.

Sat here with a large cup of tea (YES this is me!) dreaming of my favourite place on earth. Y'all know what I mean...

Although it was one of the coldest nights  ( 2.5 C )  yesterday, today there are not so may clouds in the sky and the atmosphere smells like summer....

Lack of Donkey's hind legs? - Overturned vehicles and blaming me ?

You Guys ! - You just know how to get me motivated and back on the keyboard.
And I think motivated could be the wrong word. I just needed a little push to get me started again. It's not been easy recently.

What with many recent wet days combined with heavy gales and now cold weather added to a lot of work at home it has been difficult to get back in the groove.
The hardest pill to swallow was the tragic loss of Kostas ( On the beach ) to his family and friends. They say time heals wounds but I fear time will have to work overtime on this. And although there will always be a scar, the good memories will remain.
Took the wind from many a sail here and nearly all of us still find it hard to beleive.

Very good to meet Sara and Gary recently and they have a very nice Villa taking shape.
Spacious and well thought out and giving tremendous veiws of Arillas.
I'm sure they won't mind me posting pics from the, soon to be finished, balconies.
( Don't forget that the rubble and soil will be gone soon! )

A good location, being very well built, and only 5 mins drive to Arillas and Night Owl.

A trip into Arillas is way overdue so tomorrow or Tuesday is on the cards.

Meanwhile, the only member of this family, not affected by the cold spell, is Megg.

I don't think we spoil her. ( It just looks that way! )

Finally, RIGGERS, the owner of that car beat me, the previous evening, at Darts.
Imagine his suprise in the morning. - Bear that in mind this summer!
Cheers
Negg

Ah Negg Wegg and Megg, we so are there with yous. Sat in the local this afternoon musing about y'all. I have cried many tears over our Kostas. What a waste. What a loss. What a disaster.

QuoteThey say time heals wounds but I fear time will have to work overtime on this. And although there will always be a scar, the good memories will remain.

Need I say any more?

What we recognised again today was how the Arillas village is like ours. We are loved here like we were in Magaluf last week and in Gravesend and other places before. But somehow our Arillan friends mean more to us than anyone else. You said it - we can do our own thing anywhere we go.

Not blaming luvver - just celebrating you. After all without you we would never have been here on the forum. Keep Arillas Today alive

with much affection
Phil

Thanks Dimitri...the only thing that keeps me going at the moment is that Arillas is there waiting....and hopefully spring is at last in the air. It's been a long hard winter....
As for Kostas, what can I say?  I see his dear face so clearly.....I am so hoping the taverna will be open this season....and I hope his little dog is ok....
