Wow that is a fantastic Report  Eggy.  Well worth waiting for.

I am guessing the view is from SANDY'S.

Everything seems to be taking shape beautifully, although we did not need a change.
LUVVED IT JUST THE WAY IT WAS..............But always greatful..can't wait to get there.  7 weeks on Tuesday.

I agree the Marina does look good. The new floor looks as though it has always been there!

Great Photo of the Marina, it looks really lovely.

I can see any of the other photos though for some reason... might have to go out and come back in (if you see what I mean!)  would love to see a photo of the BS Hotel.

Great report as usual Eggy.  Hope you find your voice again soon!  Its a good job you cant give a verbal skype report here otherwise we wouldnt hear you!

Ger

This sometimes happens. They are all there but I found that, even after posting, when I review the post some are missing. And then I review it again later and they are back?

Not really computer literate any more, but could be they are taking a long time loading.

I never got to Arillas today on account of giving the final last coat to all our railings.
Not bad as I started the job last June so we may crack the champagne tonite!
( Greek time or what ?! )

It's a great day here and currently 25.6 deg in the shade now at 3:30 pm.

Wegg's got a bit of a head cold and I'm still croaky but our target is to get to Brouklis tomorrow night for an unwind. - Being jealous is allowed out there.

And..... The pleasure of living in Kavadaddes? - That 'ole bird is back. Not Wegg but the one that sounds like half a cuckoo and the frogs are croaking away merrily late afternoon and evening. So we get Hoot! - Double Hoot! and Croak x 20.
Don't yer just luv it? - Wouldn't change it fer the world.

( 25.9 now as I was tyoing away )

Cheers

Ooooohhh! It's all looking lovely now. Only 8 weeks to go......

Eggy, you have obviously settled down to greek time, it took you as long to paint your railings as it took for our shutters to be fitted!

I have seen the rest of the photos Eggy.. you were right just took a bit of time to download.... I am just a bit impatient to wait to see them!  They are great and its all looking soooooo good!

Is it a year since you moved out there now?  I cant remember when you moved into your new home.  Were you painting your railings when you started to live out there?  If it is now where has that time gone?   I know... I have been on here most of it!  LOL

I have just noticed how long it is before we are out there too... thats going by quickly as well.

Hi al

Remember us.  We stayed at the Kaloudis and you played in the pool with Amy, our daughter.

I am so glad you are going again, what dates will you be there.

Sorry Folks

Been laid up for a few days with another pesky head cold. First lost the ole voice then sore throat...... You all know the score.
( I bet Sandy's seen more of Arillas, in the last two days, than I have.

Anyway, no longer having the "bear with sore head" scenario I paid a little visit today.
Once again Arillas hasn't let me down'

We have a "shade Temp" of 19 deg at the mo but Arillas, even with a slight breeze, feels so warmmmm.
Anyone who veiwed the webcam at 3pm would have seen people in the sea.
Can't be bad -Can it?

The Akti Pool and surroundings are taking shape very nicely and they have some specai lighting etc planned. I talked with the owners today and they would love to keep the rest of the build, and plans, a suprise for visitors. I can only agree with them.

And the same goes for the Marina pool which is beginning to look a cracker!
These are two items that have to kept as a final suprise.

Nearly opposite Hotel Akti there is an "off license" opening for the second season.
Owner Dimitris, or "Alcohol Dimitris" as I call him is putting in a lot of work.
( But more of this when he is finished and lets me take some pics )

And, finally, nothing to do with Arillas, but Wegg has been very busy in the garden here at Kavvadades. The "fruits" of her labour are just beginning to appear.
This one in the form of our first rose.

There will be plenty more to follow, from this green fingered lass, I think.
Cheers
Negg
