Well Kevin,
I would guarantee that you would not have sat outside, in Arillas today, as we had another 33mm of rain to add to the overnight 30mm (Not even your little ducky would have saved you)
Twas a nasty ole day and twill be a nasty night , me-thinks!!
Good news is that the house temp still sits on 21deg without any heating in use.
Cheers

and with 51mm of rain since yesterday evening the case for the defence rests!
I will take a few pics of Arillas today and see if the bench is still there.

I saw Dimi last night and he confirms the bench is now in hibernation.I am amazed at how many people are still in Arillas and only "Beach Kostas" to cater of them.
Many of your pals such as Rainbow, Tria and Brouklis etc are enjoying a fine crop of Olives this year.
(I think they are enjoying seeing them but not picking them!!)

We started the day at 19deg which picked up to 23deg but us now dropping very quickly.
Back to 19 deg at 6pm. Bugger!!

Glad they're all enjoying a good harvest this year 👍.
Is Beach Point and Armourada not staying open this Winter at all?

Hi Karl
It looks like Armourada will be closed. Leon hasn't decided yet.
Beach Point will not be open and rumour has it that it will not be closed next Summer.
(Possibly may re-open as something different)

Some good news is that the old Kavadaddes Post office has now been re-opened as a Kafenio.
Mon Amour, Kavadaddes will be open for evening meals.
A few places open in Sidari for afternoon drinks and Fri/Sat/Sun evening meals.
Cheers

Arillas Today - 4th December - Hot off the press!!
or should it be cold off the press as 13/14deg is the outside temp.
31mm of rain since this morning with a tad of thunder n lightning.

Nowhere on the beach to put a sunbed  and brollies are a no-no. (Sorry Kevin - No U for umbrella)

.
The last pic was taken an hour after the first three. Not sure if the sun wants to come out or those clouds are queuing up for another pasting.

A Sunday Arillas morning after a very bad storm with heavy winds of the gale force type.
We have had 90mm of rain in 7 days.

and for those who wonder how strong the wind was... This is our sad "spiky plant" which suffered badly.

So... with a perfext Friday and outside temps aound 18deg and a much warmer Arillas which made me remove my sweatsrhirt, which frightened all as I had no vest on. Flubber , blubber and all that!!
(Even my Punto was embarresed and drove off to AG. Stephanos)

anyway , beacuse I am a grinch to power above all Grinches, I leave you with a ditty sung to "Jingle Bells"

Jingle Bells
Santa smells
His reindeer crap all day.
It's no fun for anyone
To wipe this ***t away
What can you do
If you smell of poo
and the stench won't go away
Feel sorry for 'ole Santa
Jet washing his sleagh (Or sleighhhhhhhhh!)

ps. I am available for all childrens parties!!

So I see Viv is going to pinch my Childrens's Parties and teach all those mini sprogs some new words.

Anyway... we see a Xmas Eve temp finish which still hovers around 20 deg at 6pm.
Beach Kostas had the usual festive music playing this afternoon which made me feel ill!!
Everyone happy full of the joys of whatever fills their joys and a good time had by all.
Except the kid & the triangle who I caught on my way home. I am now melting this down to make 2e coins!
(Not the kid ... the triangle which sprogs think gives them loada money on Xmas Eve)
... Do I know you? - Have I seen you before? - Hate with a passion.
(I may do this next year to pay my car tax)

I continue to be your obedient servant now and next year which I hope will be good for you all.
Bugger Off everybody. (Can't be too nice!)
Small grin!!!
