HI

M FOR MATAKI The Mataki, or blue eye in English, is a very common symbol in Greece. They are hung on the walls of shops and houses, in cars or they are worn as jewelry. The symbolism of Mataki is to protect the wearer or the place where it is located from "kako mati", the evil eye! The evil eye is a spell of bad energy.

Owl.

It's been a few years back since we found this little one, in our Boiler room, sharing the space with 3 of our cats. We caught her and put her behind the house in an old shed, high up enough to keep any predators away. By late evening she had gone.
