old guy that used to wonder around by the beach

Sorry to change the subject but can anyone remember the old guy that used to wonder around by the beach.  He slept on the benches and could often be seen rummaging through the dustbins.  I think he had a little business going collecting bottles and returning them for the deposit.  If I remember rightly Dimitris had his photo on this website.  Don't know what made me think of him as I'm sure he died a few years back.  Spooky

Yeshe used to wear the football tops.  Don't on earth know why he came to mind yesterday when I was on the site.  Good photo Dimitris.  I remember some one telling me that when he passed away he left alot of money, think I might give this a try when I retire.

Yes he passed away a few years back, he was harmless enough, we too mentioned him the other night, all part of the memories. A lady appeared shortly after he went, going from bench to bench, she always had bags with her, is she still there? I was told she was an overseas visitor that did not want to go back, no-one knew where she went in winter though.
