Can anyone tell me if there is a golf course near to Arilles,if possible would like to know whether its worth my other half takin clubs or hiring them there(I couldn't care less really but told him I'd ask!!)lol!!

Hello Carol,

The golf course is in Ropa Valley near the resort of Ermones on the west coast of Corfu. As for the distance from Arillas, I would guestimate about 30-40km.

I played there last month. I hired a half set of clubs for 10 euros. My friends had bought their own clubs. The hired clubs were VERY basic. I ended up borrowing my partners driver and then just using the hired. irons. If you are going on BA then definitely take your own. Otherwise for the odd game then I would hire clubs. For more than that I would take my own.

The course is quite nice. Off the yellow tees it is friendly holiday golf. Off the white tees it is a bit more challenging. The place seemed to me to have a touch of faded glory about it, but I would say it is definitely worth trying at least once. It is flat and easy walking, but play early or late in the summer.
