last time we were there the slope down to the beach was covered in smooth stones but this time it was sandy, just wondered why the stones had gone?

Hated walking over them stones so realy pleased that it is now sandy.  The first year we went (9yrs ago) I'm sure that it was sandy then.  Will have to look through my old photos.

When we were there in October my son and I watched a woman helping herself to them, she really took loads - so that might be where some of them have gone!!  Glad you had a great hol!

I asked my Mum the very same thing and she told me just before the season started they had large machinery on the beach reclaiming the sand, must admit the beach looks lovely at present.

i agree, the beach is fantastic

i thought something must have been done to the beach as i noticed that unlike when we were there in sept 18 months ago when the tide went out it left puddles in the sand which got quite warm as the day wore on.

(just re-read my last sentence and that whirring noise you can hear is the sound of my old english teacher spinning in his grave)
