Hotter in Essex!!

Well its 20 degrees and not a cloud in the sky in Essex today, its lovely out there, very different from what im seeing on the old webcam of Arillas!  As long as it warms up a bit for us May arrivals im not worrying!!!

It's lovely and sunny in Yorkshire too - even better cos I finish work for my Easter hol in less than half an hour now!  Hope everyone has a lovely weekend!

Should manange to get some gardening done this weekend (that's if we get past the chairs in the shed to get to the mower)
Now where did I see those Amstels for sale? Feel a Greek weekend coming on, souvlaki, tzatziki, alas no spit roast lamb!! Only 4 and a bit weeks to go till the real thing!

Well we were going to have a coffee and sit out the front to drink it.Our neighbours turned up and we had the coffee followed by gins and giant beans(jar from Marks ans Spencer)and garlic mussels.what started out as a coffee in the sun at 3 pm has just finished nearly 4 hours later.A great afternoon in the sun with plenty of nice chat

Sounds luverly!

I cooked dinner in the garden tonight, not a BBQ which I hate, all that smoke and cleaning etc.  I bought from Ebay a two ring cooker (like you get in greece) and took it outside, cooked sausages and steak under the gazebo on the decking.... brilliant first meal outside this year - one of many we hope!  I love eating outside - breakfast, lunch and dinner, supper, snacks, etc. etc. etc.....
Mike said it was like sitting in a restaurant on Corfu, well not quite but we could dream!

What a great idea Sue, that sounds lovely, i love sitting outside and eating too, just so different to being cooped up inside, it relaxes you alot when you sit out in the nice weather.

It was so easy and I thought why should I be indoors cooking whilst everyone is in the garden,  I'll take it outside and join in with the fun.. cant wait for the next time.. now what can I cook next?

Why not make some shish kebabs with green, yellow and red peppers with a mushroom and a slice of gourgette in between. Looks good and smells good and goes down a treat with all the meat. I have a similar barbeque to yours and it is treasure and this weekend is most definetly eating out weekend :)
