The wine festival is usually always around 15/16th give or take a few days

We are hoping to be there again in Sept so aiming for those dates definitely

pg32 - more to the point is does anyone remember what goes on at the wine festival.

We were ther last year. You pay a few euros and drink as much wine as you want. There is also food available but not a lot of choice. Greek dancing, traditional dancers in costume and more wine and more dancing and more food and more wine. Can't remember much but had a great time.

It is usually the middle week end in September but it has been later.

My wife loves wine, but me, cannot stand the stuff!! I can drink Champers or Cava but wine i just cannot stomach!! My wifes sister and her husband also like wine so if its on when we are there it looks like i'll be the sober one!!!

Fingers crossed we will be in Arallas around the 14th to the 21st ( only visit to Arillas this year Boo Hoo) so hope these dates coincide with the wine festival, not been to it before but it sounds a good laugh.

it would appear that the date of the wine festival is NOT known,if we can get the dog booked into the kennels then we will aim for Sept 17th untill the 24th.

Hi, I asked the Boss when we were in Arillas last week (seems ages ago) and he said sometimes its 15th & 16th sometimes it 20th 21st and sometimes it doesn't even happen at all, it depends on the ripeness of the grapes and nobody knows until about a week before.
We have booked for 14th -21st as we only have a week left then, hope it will be the first weekend, if not we will still have plenty of wine anyway. Viv
