Hi

I have been asked to clarify about the 3 month rule regarding UK  passport holders leaving the EU.

Your passport must be valid for at least 3 months after the date you intend to leave the EU country you are visiting.

As I have mentioned before, it is best to say your passport expiry date is 9yrs and 9 months from the issue date, to ensure you comply with the EU regulations.

It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than  to speak up and remove all doubt.

Bloody hell.Didn't know that. Bad enough not be able to leave UK because of the 10 Yr rule let alone not being able to leave the EU because of the 3 month rule. Thought it was 6 months you were allowed.
