To hold a license

Last year on Arillas beach the boat hire. Brett booked two 80cc? it was above 30cc boats BUT the morning thay was going out on the boats they asked Brett and Billy Have you got a Boat license NO, he said you got to have a boat license a ICC [ International Certificate of Competence (ICC), an International Prerequisite or prove competence by completing the ICC Assessment form. ] He gave them two 25cc and refund to the cost

Do I need a boat license in Greece?
First, you need to understand that a motorboat is categorized as any boat that has an engine and is not considered a powerboat or speedboat that may be hired without a crew. The choice of hiring a motorboat from a boat rental company without a license in Greece is only available for small vessels which have less than 30 hp.

No mate , never been questioned and I am sure we had a bigger boat than a 30HP one but I might be wrong ?
