Might have to just go for it or we will lose out on Arillas for next year.  I have checked flights for other destinations and prices are similar - if we total flights accomodation etc for Arillas, it is still considerably cheaper than a package holiday for us for 2024! Decisions decisions 🤔

Looking for flights to come out second week in October 2023, cheapest from Newcastle £500 (TUI), seat only for one week. Hoping they come down nearer the time, otherwise no go. Can go to Malaga Spain including hotel for that!!!!!!!

I just went ahead and booked as the flights total had increased by £60 while I was being indecisive!!
I should have learnt my lesson from last year seeing how they jumped up!!
Total of £840 for family of 4. No bags added yet!
Suppose per person it is ok!

They will go up in price for months now and then usually start dropping a bit again after Xmas. Its always a gamble what to do but personally most of my 'flight gambles' pay off 🙂
Pity my gambles at the bookies don't 🤣

Out of interest, is it cheaper to book hold luggage at time of booking flights or is it the same price if you leave it till later?

Again Jo it depends.... Sometimes they advertise discounted prices on luggage as a 'promotion' and you can add it on after you've bookdd flights but as a rule its the same price , on the odd occasion cheaper, to book hold luggage when booking the flight 👍

Have ended up spending a fortune in flights now. Husbands work decided to go rogue and changed their July holiday dates so had to change the flights - an extra £360!! I am sickened.
As we have no competition here in Northern Ireland with only one airport I can't risk waiting to see of the prices might drop. They have been increasing by the day. I then have the additional risk of them selling out. Total cost of £1200 for 4 of us with no bags yet.
Only saving grace is that the accomodation in Arillas is very reasonable so as a total holiday cost per person it doesn't sit too bad. Around £550 per person for flights and accomodation.
I dread to see the Belfast prices next year!
