Mozzie Spray
« on: July 10, 2023, 11:47:50 AM »
Anyone else out there have the same problem as I do?

Mozzie spray gives me a sneezing bout. I find the best one for mozzies is "buzz off" but both the extra and medium strengh plays havoc with the nostrils.
Cheers

For the last few years we have taken vitamin B12 complex two weeks before we go. We hardly get touched at all these days. You can pick these up for 99p at home bargains or other chemists. Apparently they’re something in them that emits from your skin which the little blighters hate. We also eats lots of garlic   In dishes which they are supposed to hate also

Hi
Eat a lot of Marmite is supposed to help

this comes from the guy who, rumour has it, rubs colman's mustard all over his body.
(the only person who turns a nice shade of yellow in the sun!!)

Hi
As the by product of beer production is the main ingredient  of Marmite perhaps drinking more beer would ?

Don't you use ant mosquito repellent at all Jo.
I didn't get bite once this year but I wear Jungle Formula. Also had air con on at night which keeps them away.

Hi

Neil no it wasn’t me haha

I was watching a tv programme about which is the best mosquito repellent
They had a box with mosquitos in it with fine mesh on top first he put his hand on top of the mesh and the mosquitoes went to the mesh a load of mosquitoes was around the mesh
Then they tried different types of repellent creams and sprays

The best ones are the ones with Deet
He sprayed his hand and no mosquitoes

Some people do not like using mosquitoe repellent with Deet in because it had bad press reports
They say the amount of Deet in the repellent is very low and safe
We have always used  a repellent with Deet we all okay I think 🤔 haha

The moral being is that if someone knocks on yer door with a box of mozzies you say it was Pizza you ordered and close the door immediately!
