Hi

As we all most probably know the first plane from uk Birmingham landed on Corfu today and Sonia has posted the jet2 plane from Birmingham got a water spray as it came in to stop what a excellent site to see

We hope this is good news as long we don’t get more lockdowns
I think the news said Blackburn could be next for lockdown

Hope to see you soon Mr Eggy darts sharpened ready to go no excuses for losing haha
See at the Tria with a drink with Yanni or wherever Rainbow

Arrived on the Manchester flight this evening. No problems at all at the airport. You have to complete a form before arrival - Passenger Location Form and some people were selected to have a COVID test. We were picked but it was all very efficient and by time we had had our test our bags were there. The whole experience was a lot better than I imagined. It’s not very busy here yet but hopefully it will pick up as the weeks go by 🤞

Hi Can anyone shed any light on the testing and quarantine at the airport we are due to fly on August 8th but the testing and risk of quarantine is really worrying.

There is random testing at the airport and if you test positive they let you know within 24 hours. I’ll update what happens next if we test positive 🙈

Warren and Angie, you just need to
Social distance for that 24 hours IF you get tested. If you do get a positive result. I believe you have to go to a quarantine hotel on Corfu for 2 weeks. Obviously ideally you need to know you are well before you travel and also got piece of mind so that if you get tested you can be pretty sure that you will be ok. If either you or your partner or anyone in your household is a key worker you can get Covid 19 tests for free through the gov site.

Jo

Following the link you posted earlier Jill & I had a test (Jill is a Key Worker)

Results back the next Day & both negative as we thought.

Our intention is to have another test in a couple of weeks just prior to flying - Hopefully we'll stay virus free but would rather know than find out in Corfu & spend two weeks in isolation!!

I'm sure we'll manage to isolate for 24 hours if chosen to be tested - May sit on the balcony with a glass or three & take in the sounds & smells.......

Neil & Jill

Anyone know if flights are coming in full or are they not selling all the seats?

To be honest I am hoping there are a few spare rows on our flight on Friday. Really uncomfortable with the thought of someone else in our row of 3😩
