HI everyone. I finally booked our trip for this year. Mega cheap deal with Ryanair from Brum. I was originally booked 17-31 August but have moved it down to a week 25-31 August due to daughter attending A level summer school home in Coventry. Anything could happen but am keeping everything crossed for my Arillas fix. 1996 first trip then a gap until 2012 and been back every year (sometimes twice a year) apart from 2019 when had to cancel due to work. MIRAGE have been great and allowed me to change my dates. Looking forward to that beach, the food, views and of course Nikos cocktails. I plan to give the daughter a super relaxing break before her final yr in sixth form. CANNOT WAIT for that view of Arillas..

Harold - Where do you get your info from??
Yesterday we were told 40 cases in Magoulades. - Twas a rumour which blew outa proportion.
(the real new came from a lady that lives in Magoulades)

Talking of rumours....It is said that don't eat mackerel when in Brixham as they all have the virus.
(May be fishy news , though)

Kevin - Hows this for a rumour which got blown out of proportion.
Serbia women , who drove over with husband ,voluteered for a test and found positive, (Hubbie OK) She was a Magoulades lady.
That evening , 40 people, in Magoulades, were found to have the virus. No No No - Not true. Wegg knows a lady from Magoulades who happens to be this ladies neighbour. - I listen to the locals and it's when all these reported cases go from Greece to Corfu, then we gotta worry. -
Cheers

Kevin - Believe and listen to the people in the know. Locals will root out the real news as it is very important to them and family.
Nothing wrong with "Enimerosi" or local Greek news. Do not listen to UK papers such as Daily Mirror /Sun who seem to be more concerned with page 3 and "Neighbour who eats Goldfish" than the real news in life, which is important to the likes of you and me.
Cheers

Hi

TUI as with other companies are consolidating flights.
As with our holiday, all Thursday flights from Gatwick were cancelled. They consolidated Thursday flights with Friday flights. If there was not enough room for everybody the unlucky ones had their holiday cancelled as we did.

On a more lighter note its good news, as I had my haircut today
