Arillas is a quiet bay betwixt Ageous Georgius and San Stefanos in the North West corner of Corfu. Totally unspoiled by years of development, but offering dozens of locally owned tavernas, all offering incredibly good food, to suit all tastes. Its beach is glorious, and if you want to bare all, turn right at Kaloudis and walk half a flat mile along the sand. You may have to wade through the sea at times.

Many of us have fallen in love with it and return at every opportunity. Babies and youngsters will find a perfect shallow and warm sea for buckets and spades. Teengers bop their hearts out in Malibu Bar, while their olduns sip a sophisticated drink next door in the Coconut Bar. Wrinkly old couples like Jen and me pretend to be 17 again, and waddle off to leave the night to those who we used to be. The sun sets bright red, and everyone tries to be Marika and capture it on camera. Many love affairs began here, and many are renewed.

Think again when you book your 2011 holiday. Send me a message and I will find you the perfect choice in Arillas. Or tell you not to.

I couldn't have put it better myself Phil. Arillas really is the most wonderful place on earth. We discovered it 11 years ago & have since visited many other places in Europe, but there's quite simply nowhere that even compares with Arillas & the beauty of north-west Corfu & it's welcoming residents.
As Val said "you don't know what you're missing" until you visit Arillas & when you do, I can guarantee that you'll return again & again.

I agree with all that has been said.  For anyone wanting a tranquil beach holiday then Arillas is just the place to be.

When I was talking about Arillas to some relatives the other day, I simply said that it is a spiritual place for us.  When I am back there something just 'shifts' in my being, giving me total peace and fulfillment.  And NO I haven't been on the wine (yet!!)

TONYNEW

Spirits been Black Sambuca Jo ;-)  ,i know this virtual tour has been on before but its great to have a virtual walk around the place and bob into a few restaurants and tavernas
I was also wondering if anyone from the forum is on the virtual tour as there are a fair few folk in some of the restaurants

Hey Tony - Julia & I have just had a wonderful half hour playing with this walk round Arillas.  Great isn't it?  Only person I know though is the waiter at the Horizon who we always enjoy chatting to when we dine there.
Thanks for putting this on the forum

Hi Tony. When I first brought it up Vinnie peered over my shoulder and said "Oh no. Dad's gonna be up all night on there..." And he wasn't far wrong. Fabulous! Thanks for posting it.

Thanks Tony! Just what I was looking for to show some friends of mine what they are missing. They are thinking of going to The Bardis Sun Hotel which is very well represented on the 'tour', as is Gratsella, with that wonderful sunset!
Roll on May 2011!
Yammas,
Martin.

The Bardis Sun Hotel now on the 'net'.
