Do any restaurants accept card payments? Have been visiting Arillas since 2002, but usually pay by cash.

Am going to be lost without the cash machine in Arillas this year and am thinking of ways round this.

Prior to its installation, we tied in our car hire days with a stop off in Sidari to withdraw cash....any ideas???

restaurants do take card payments,,san steph has a cash machine ,but not always got cash in it ,,id take as much eruros with you then worry if you need more when there ..there is also a atm in avillotes,which is nearer than sidari.......yammas

Gaye luvver, like us yous are working on planning the currency thing. Many tavernas accept cards. We always use it in Thalassa to preserve cash and avoid a trip to Sidari. In the evening we always spend more than planned there. The food is so good, and the company so pleasant we just sit in those big chairs watching the sea and Gravia, BLISS!

Dimitris does cards, I think almost everywhere does now. But you need some euros in your wallet. The ATM made life so easy. But this year we are going to take euro travellers cheques. And change them with Olga. BRING BACK THE ATM!!!!!

I'm also trying to plan how much money to take! We're only away for a week, so shouldn't be a problem.....but I like to know my options

If we require a trip to a village/town with a cash machine is it possible to get a taxi there from Arillas? We're not planning on hiring a car.

If taxis's are available how much(approx) would cost?

We're looking forward to a quiet week.
