Brilliant holiday

Hello everyone,

we have just returned from our fortnight in Arillas having had a brilliant time. We stayed at the Mathraki for the second year, booked independently this time as they are not with Thompson this year (well they are but with the Finnish branch). Things worked out well with  taxi transfers being really quick and easy. I have to say a big thank you to all of the family at the Mathraki for looking after us so well and remembering us from last year. Turns out all of the Finnish guests get up really early and prefer the beach to the pool - suited us as we had the pool to ourselves most days.
Enjoyed a few walks around the village and made it up to the Gravia at the top of the cliff path. We dined around in lots of places and enjoyed great meals wherever we went. I particularly enjoyed Brouklis, Captains and Vavilas for a bit of rustic charm.
Enjoyed a few films and games of pool in the Malibu and the magic show and Robbie Williams nights at the Coconut. Saw a few faces I recognised from the forum but we are quite a shy couple so forgive us for not saying hello - it was still fun people spotting.
We were sad to leave and can't wait to go back.

hi linsay isn't arillas just the perfect place so quiet and peaceful, my sister and our families were in arillas june/july it was our first time in arillas we stayed at the beautiful villa linakis hoping to go back next year as i have caught the arillas bug as with the forum love to hear about arillas
