I see that they have something called TTA it looks very similar to the ATOL protection.
I just like to know that i'm protected if anything should go wrong ..lol

I have never used Corfu Escape, mainly because I tend to book independently. However back in September/October when all the airlines went under, Nancy stood out from the crowd as she helped friends of mine get back to the U.K. A.S.A.P. and personally worked all day and night to assist in every way possible. They certainly recommend her and her company and are using them again in May and September.

We have used CorfuEscape for several years (apart from last year when they didn't do flights) and also spoken to several other customers, all of whom have spoken very highly of her Company.

I think the following is a fair summary of how her  customers are protected.

Due to the huge increase in the up-front Bond required by ATOL last year Nancy declined to continue with ATOL and so didn't sell flights. For 2009 she has become a member of the Travel Trust Association in order to provide protection for her customers and sell flights as well as accommodation.

From the TTA web-site it seems the Association provides complete cover for the customers of their members, but in a different way to ATOL. The money you have paid for your flights or holiday is not held by the agent member but in the TTA bank accounts, and is covered by insurance.

"The Travel Trust Association exists in order to protect you, the customer, with 100 percent financial protection and has been doing so for over fifteen years. This means that every penny that you pay to our members is protected by the Travel Trust Association
Every Travel Trust Association member deposits your money into the Trust Account. A Trust Account is a bank account designated to hold the customers' money.

Your money remains in the Trust Account and is supervised by an appointed Trustee who is either a banker, chartered or certified accountant or a solicitor. Both the Travel Trust Association members AND the Trustee are required to authorise payments from the Trust Account.

If anyone is concerned the TTA web-site is quite comprehensive with answers to many FAQs.

As has been illustrated already Nancy is an extremely professional and conscientious person who provides a personal service. My personal opinion is that I have no hesitation in recommending CorfuEscape.

We used Nancy the year before last and she is brilliant.. we had no problems as she is very professional and others we know who regularly have booked with her have had no problems either.. she met us at the airport herself and organised the mini bus pick up - she is very "hands on" and wants to make sure her customers are happy.

I booked the flights today and now I'm just waiting to hear from Nancy to confirm the room booking.
It's so exciting .. I've never been to Arillas before but it was very highly recommended to me.
We'll be there from the end of June for 2 weeks can't wait now !
