Watch out for the Umbrella man!!!!!!!!!!!!

This man not Greek behaving as the Arnold Schwarzenegger who is asking the money for the Umbrella in the beach (approx in front of AMMOS/PORTOFINO).

He ask me for an umbrella 7.5 euro even if I was only staying 1.5 houres.

Some other people told me that the normal price is 2.5 euro. I was with my child of 3 mounth so he descover that he could ask me the money because i really need the umbrella in this moment.

The day after I was buying an umbrella for 5.5 euro and I still have it for the next year.

As for the donuts man it is good to warning the other arillas lover.

WATCH OUT FOR THE UMBRELLA MAN!!!!!!

Thank you for this warning to all. Because Wegg and I only ever stay 90 minutes on the beach we have the same problem as you.

It is always better to take your own umbrella & sit on the sand if you are not staying,

For people who stay on the beach all day it may be different.

It was good to meet you both and that little bundle of fun who looked at peace with the world.

Wow. The luxury of an umbrella. As the only family member with a love of Arillas's beautiful beach i am deemed 'lucky' to be bought a beach mat for my daily jaunt. (I have known my generous husband to give me a second hand one out of a bin in the past).  This has to taken WITHOUT towel and brought back and hosed down before it goes anywhere near the apt. and the reason I am marrying this man again next year is WHAT???

vivian

because there's something about him you love. Have had another e-mail from Clifford and he is going to pass us on to the new Priest in Feburary so it looks like our blessing will be going ahead as well. Viv

Stay Nude it ante rude

Hi Viv, I was going to email you to ask if you had spoke to him yet.  Please let me know how to when the time comes.

It was a pleasure for us to meet you.

So what exactly were people charged for their beds and brollies?

When we sat on the beach we were charged seven and a half Euros every day.....but the couple next to us were only charged five Euros....(Was it because she was topless?)
We are the people that my parent's warned me about........

Peckedhen

We paid 6 euros for two beds and one umbrella at the Costas side of the beach.

Chris & Mark's mum

Right! I understand now! It's 6 Euros on the Costa's side of the beach, 7 and a half Euros on the Grazilla side of the beach, unless you go topless, then it's 5 Euros!

I don't believe it!

Isn't it something like e2.50 for each bed and brolly and e1.00 for those plastic tables?

The rare times we did hire the beds we had our own brolly, on hand, if needed and the guy took his away. He didn't mind and, as already said we were only around for a max of two hours so rarely used the brolly anyway

I don't believe it......So that means we should have been charged 8 and a half Euros as he let us keep the table..... mmmmm...shame there isn't a tariff on view

We were charged 6 euro for 2 sunbeds and 1.50 euro for the Brolly
not bad considering the prices we have been charged in other resorts

Our one ever sunbed during the two weeks in July was 3 euros. Jen didn't have an umbrella.  Me? I don't use them.
